Oh yeah, he loved music! And he liked a lot of different types. Like a lot of people at the time he liked Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, and Frank Sinatra; he loved Sinatra’s album “Songs for Young Lovers”. He also loved classical music (I think his favorite was Stravinsky), Afro-Cuban, Jazz, some Opera, etc. He also played the recorder and drums, and wanted to learn the piano. He was friends with a lot of composers too, like Leonard Rosenman who did the music for both “East of Eden” and “Rebel”.
